Monday— DII age-based eligibility is now official, not proposed
It’s no longer just a Division I story. DII has officially moved to age-based eligibility. Your age and the date you first enroll full time in college can now determine when your five-year eligibility period begins.
This would also be a good opportunity for AG2C to correct the popular “5 for 5” shorthand—the NCAA itself now explicitly says that description isn’t accurate because five years of competition are not guaranteed.
